How do I install PromptGenius?
Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome." The extension will automatically install and appear in your browser toolbar.
Which AI platforms does PromptGenius support?
PromptGenius works with ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot. The floating button will appear automatically when you visit any of these platforms.
What are the three optimization styles?
Structured: Breaks your prompt into clear steps with explicit requirements.
Detailed: Adds expert context, role assignment, and requests for evidence.
Concise: Distills your prompt to its essentials with precise language.
Why is the extension showing "offline optimization"?
This occurs when the optimization service is temporarily unavailable. The extension will still provide basic grammar and spelling corrections. Try again in a few moments for full AI-powered optimization.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your prompts are sent to our secure optimization service, processed, and immediately discarded. We do not store, log, or share your prompts. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I use the keyboard shortcut?
Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac) to quickly open or close the PromptGenius panel.
